Community Participation Group 2026 [booking required]
There is an opportunity to join the Community Participation Group on Monday 23 February 2026, 11:00 – 13:00 at The Meadows Community Centre, 299 Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2JL.
A number of members of the Co-Production group joined this last year in Huntingdon to discuss the Community Mental Health review. Once again the Community Participation Group is looking for people who have experience of multiple disadvantage to participate.
This time the topics for discussion are:
- People and Communities Strategy
- Care Quality Commission (CQC) Improvement Framework
Both these important policies are intended to shape the way the Integrated Care System works with local people to plan services and address health inequalities
A £40 participation payment in recognition of people giving their valuable time to the discussion, as well as re-imbursing travel expenses. Light lunch/refreshments will also be provided.
You do not need to be a regular attendee at the Coproduction Group as long as your lived experience qualifies you to join. However, there is a maximum number that the group can manage of 6 people (joining their regular core group).
If you would like to join this session please can you let Tom or Nick know.
Also let us know if you need any support to participate in this session (perhaps you would like a support worker to come or any other support we can manage).
If you work in services but know someone with lived experience who might be interested, please do ask them. If we are oversubscribed we will try to select a broad range of people to maximise they experience that will be present.
Do get in touch if interested
Thanks
