SUMMARY:October 2026 Monthly Co-Production Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Next Wednesday\, 7 October\, we will be welcoming representatives from Central Government to come and talk and listen to our group.\n\n\nRepresentatives from the Ministry of Housing\, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) will join us as we ask \n\n“What is success?” \n\nMHCLG is the department that gives direction to our local councils so this will be an opportunity to discuss with them what is important and what should government be doing to address the issues of people with lived experience of multiple disadvantage.\n\nWe will also hear about a government / lived experience mentoring scheme plus the usual updates and opportunities\n\nAs usual the session will be at St Paul’s\, Hills Road\, Cambridge 1pm for a 1.30pm start. Pizza or sandwiches will be provided.\n\nIt would be great to see people who have contributed to the group in the past and are experienced coproducers but not been for a while\, as well as new faces.\n\nPeople working in services are welcome\, especially if they know anyone with lived experience who they might want to bring. Remembering to bring your working or own lived experience but leaving your service hats at the door.\n\nIf you can’t make the meeting but would like to contribute\, just let us know. We are always happy to meet with people separately to get their input. Contact Maria at Marie.Ludlam@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.\n\nIf you know anyone who is interested but has not been before do let them know. Keyworkers or other trusted people are welcome if that helps anyone to join in
